Welcome to the tribute for Sue Crichton. A very loved person to so many in her personal and professional life.
Sue was born on 31st July 1956. Sue died suddenly on 21st January 2021 and is survived by her daughter, Nicola and fluffy companion, Vallee.
This page hopes to raise money in her name, share pictures and cherished memories - no matter how daft.
Feel free to get in touch with Nicola, Sue's daughter on hello@nicolacrichton.co.uk should you wish to.
About the charities and why they were important to Sue:
Cruse Bereavement Care - Nicola was training with Cruse very recently. Sue said how proud she was when Nicola passed her foundation course. Please access their services if you would like support. Their service is vital.
The Donkey Sanctuary - with sites all over the UK, the Donkey Santuary takes in abandoned or unwanted donkeys to give them their forever home. Sue loved their work and had adoptions with Zena and Ashley at the Sidmouth, Devon site. She was looking forward to visiting them when the world settled down.
Marie Curie - Sue had a lot of support from this wonderful organisation when Andrew was at home with palliative care. They would provide night sit nurses to give Sue a break and support Andrew with any needs he had during the night.
Music Venue Trust - supporting and promoting individual venues around the UK. With the pandemic stopping all forms of hospitality and events, independent music venues are facing a difficult battle to stay afloat. Sue loved going to gigs, particularly those who MVT have helped support. Chip in to help these venues continue in the future.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Trust - Sue had operations in both the Chelsea and Sutton Hospitals over the years. Their care, attention and skill helped Sue get rid of her breast cancer and give her a second chance. The support they gave Andrew and Nicola was amazing.
I think of Sue often and miss her so much. She was my buddy xx
This is my tribute to Sue from myself and on behalf of PCS Sue was a dedicated PCS Safety rep who worked tirelessly for the health, safety and welfare of her colleagues. She is sadly missed by myself and all who knew her Rest in Peace Sue
Lots of love. x
